Bacon Wrapped Pickles with Voodoo Ranch Sauce

Bacon Wrapped Pickles with Voodoo Ranch Sauce

These bacon-wrapped pickles are out of this world and have been a sensation this summer! Combine them with the Voodoo Ranch dipping sauce and the pair will surely be a hit at any event. We will be cooking on a smoker or pellet grill at 275°F (135°C). The ingredients list is short and the preparation is easy so let’s get started!

There are two ways to go about the Voodoo ranch sauce and the choice is entirely yours. The first option is simple and incredibly tasty and is the same as the one that you see in the picture. It is ranch sauce mixed with the incredibly popular Meat Church Holy Voodoo Seasoning. For the amount of ranch sauce you see in the picture you would need about a teaspoon of the seasoning. You can purchase the Holy Voodoo seasoning by clicking here.  (Commission earned) You can then add it to your favorite brand of ranch sauce.

1 cup – Sour Cream
1 packet – Ranch Seasoning

Voodoo Ranch Dipping Sauce Preparation

First we will be making the Voodoo Ranch Dipping Sauce. In a bowl combine 1 cup of mayonnaise with an equal amount of sour cream. Next add in 1 packet of ranch seasoning and 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning. Finally mix in 1 tablespoon of your favorite hot sauce and 1 pinch of cayenne pepper. The amounts of these ingredients may be adjusted according to your spice preference.  Mix well in a bowl and cover with a plastic wrap. Refrigerating for a minimum of 3 hours before serving. You are going to want the sauce to be really cold so try not to cut the refrigeration time if possible.

Bacon Wrapped Pickles Preparation

Start by preheating your smoker or pellet grill to  275°F (135°C). Cut your desired amount of bacon strips in half. Do the same with your desired amount of pickles, this time cutting in half both vertically and horizontally. This should create four pieces out of each pickle. Wrap each piece with a half strip of bacon and place them seam side down on a rack. Add a sprinkle of your favorite rub on the top side of the bacon. Place inside your smoker or pellet grill and cook for 40-45 minutes until the bacon is crispy. Serve with the dipping sauce and enjoy!
