64 Easy Grilling Recipes For All Occasions!

Sometimes you are short on time and just want to throw something on the grill that is going to be quick and easy. Here is a huge collection of recipes that take just a few minutes to prepare. The recipes are all very simple and easy to prepare. We have not mentioned salt and pepper in each of the recipes but season as you find appropriate.

Some of the ingredients are seasonal and some are easy to obtain all year long. Let’s get straight into the recipes and see what we have.

Fast Grilled Vegetables and Fruits

1. Grilled Fennel

Take some thick slices of fennel bulbs and brush them with olive oil. Grill over medium heat. Take some oranges and cut them in half. Grill the oranges cut side down. Put some fennel on a bed of watercress. Take the grilled oranges squeeze the juice over the top and garnish with the fennel.

2. Grilled Artichokes

Take your artichokes and cut them in half. With a spoon, you should scoop out the choke part. Boil until tender. Grill the artichokes with the cut side facing down until they are slightly charred. Whilst the artichokes are grilling you can also grill a couple of lemon halves. Melt some butter and mix with the juice of the lemons. Spoon the mix over the grilled artichokes.

3. Spiced Carrots

Peel the carrots with a knife or a peeler. Mix together cumin, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Roll the carrots in the mix until they are covered in the rub. Char the carrots over direct heat. Once the carrots are charred move them to a part of the grill that has no coals, put down the cover, and grill until the carrots are soft.

4. Grilled Beetroot

Cut your beet into slices and brush with olive oil. Grill the slices over low heat slowly. Wait until the slices are tender and lightly browned. Top each slice with a little goat cheese and serve with a green salad.

5. Grilled Tomatoes with Mozzarella

This is one of my favorite quick grill snacks. You must use tomatoes that are fully ripe. Take the tomatoes and grill them until they are hot and slightly charred. Do not overdo the grilling as you don’t want the tomatoes falling apart. Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Serve the tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and grilled bread.

6. Grilled Guacamole

Take your avocadoes and cut them in half. Remove the seed and lightly char on the grill. Also, grill half of a red onion at the same time. Once the avocado is grilled scoop out its flesh into a bowl. Chop the onion, tomatoes, and garlic and add to the bowl. Add some lime juice and season. Mix it all together and serve.

7. Grilled Corn

8. More Grilled Corn

As above grill the corn. Serve with yogurt that has been mixed with curry powder, and minced onion.

9. Yet More Grilled Corn

Grill the corn. Mix coconut milk, mint, and cilantro together in a bowl and serve with the corn.

10. Grilled Zucchini Slices

Cut your zucchini into thick slices. Apply a coating of dill, olive oil, yogurt, and lemon. Grill the zucchini until lightly charred.

11. Baby Bok Choy

You can either leave the bok choy whole or you can cut each piece in half. Lightly char the bok choy over direct heat. Remove from the grill and drizzle lightly with soy sauce. Top the bok choy with scallions that have been finely chopped.

12. Grilled Mango

For this recipe, it is important that the mango is not overly ripe. Take the mango and peel it, once peeled you should slice it into thick slices. Brush the mango lightly with an oil that is flavor-neutral. Grill until the mango is just softening. Sprinkle the mango with lime juice and either mint or cilantro.

13. Grilled Pineapple

This is a super easy recipe that comes with an incredibly tasty sauce. Grill the pineapple until it has char marks on it and then remove it from the grill. To make the sauce you will need to mix half a cup of peanut butter with a tablespoon of soy sauce. Add as much Sriracha as you feel comfortable with and about a handful of mint. Water the sauce down with warm water until the sauce is a little thinner but not too runny.

14. Grilled Waldorf Salad (Kind of)

Cut the apple, savoy cabbage, and half a red onion into chunks. Grill these until they are browned but not too soft. Shred all of the vegetables and mix them together with blue cheese, some walnuts, and a little yogurt.

15. Grilled Peppers

Take a selection of different colored peppers. Grill them until they have a light char. Mix together with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and some capers.

16. Charred Salsa Verde

This super-fast recipe is incredibly delicious and can be eaten with chips as a dip or on top of some grilled chicken. Coat scallions, jalapenos, and husked tomatillos in olive oil. Grill them until they are charred. Once charred you should remove from the grill and remove the chili skins. Put the vegetables into a blender and blend with avocado, lime juice, and some cilantro.

17. Grilled Lamb Chops Mideast Style

Lamb chops are one of the most underrated BBQ gems that I can think of. Personally, I believe that shoulder cuts are the best part to use and also they offer great value for money. It is very important though that you don’t burn them. Make a marinade out of yogurt, lemon, cardamon, and mint. Leave the lamb in the marinade for a short while and then grill. Serve the lamb with lemon and parsley.

18. Grilled Pork Chops Midwest Style

As with the lamb above, the pork shoulder offers the cheapest and best cut for this dish. Marinate the pork for a short while in a mix of spicy mustard, apple cider, and chopped garlic. Grill until cooked through but don’t burn.

19. Grilled Six Minute Steak (Non-Marinated)

Use skirt steak for this recipe. You want to salt it and grill it quickly. As the name suggests you should do this for about six minutes. Slightly less if you like it rarer. Once grilled top the steak with thinly sliced red onion, the juice of a grilled lime, and queso fresco.

20. Grilled Six Minute Steak (Marinated)

This recipe will take a little longer than many of the others here due to the marinating time. Make a mixture of soy, garlic, ginger, lime juice, and sugar. Place the skirt steak into the mixture and leave it to marinate whilst your grill comes up to temperature. Grill for six minutes turning halfway.

21. Grilled Garlic and Rosemary Chicken Legs

Make a paste out of garlic, rosemary, lemon juice, and olive oil. Smear the paste onto the chicken legs and grill away from the direct heat. 22. Grilled steak au Poivre

For this recipe, some sirloin strips will work really well. Crack some black pepper and press it into both sides of the steak. season with salt and grill over high heat. You will want to grill for three or four minutes on each side. Slice the steak into strips that are about a quarter of an inch thick and serve.

23. Grilled Mustard and Shallot Steak

This simple steak is covered with mustard and grilled until it reaches the doneness you desire. You can use either flatiron, hanger, or skirt steak. Serve with grilled shallots.

24. Grilled Pesto Chicken Thighs

Take either boned or boneless chicken thighs and brush them with either cilantro, basil, or parsley pesto. If the thighs are both boneless and skinless you can grill over direct heat. If the thighs have the skin you should start the grilling away from the direct heat.

25. Grilled Stuffed Chicken Breast

Take your chicken breast and pound it with a meat hammer until it is thin. Place chopped tomato, parmesan, and basil on top of the breast. Roll up the chicken and use cocktail sticks to hold it all together. Grill over medium heat until the chicken is just done. Don’t overcook as you want the chicken to stay moist instead of dry.

26. Grilled Chicken Parm

This is super easy and quick to prepare and yields grey results. Pound your chicken breast thin and place sliced tomato, parmesan, and mozzarella on top of the chicken. Fold the chicken in half and hold it together with toothpicks. Grill the chicken for a few minutes on each side until it is cooked completely through.

27. Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dogs

28. Grilled Pork Saltimbocca

Take pork cutlets and pound them until they are thin. Place ham and cheese on top and roll up the chicken. Cook on skewers until the pork is cooked throughout. This dish works really well when served with pickles.

Fish and Shellfish

29. Grilled Scallops with Vinaigrette

Cut a large onion into thick slices and place on the grill. Once the onion has started to go soft puree it in a blender with some olive oil and lemon juice. Grill your scallops for about two minutes on each side and serve with the onion vinaigrette.

30. Grilled Sardines or Mackeral

Grill the fish, turning halfway through to make sure both sides are evenly cooked. Once cooked serve with either a squeeze of grilled grapefruit or grilled lime.

31. Grilled Stuffed Squids

This is an excellent dish to impress your family or friends. You want to grill the squid over a really hot fire to get it charred quickly. Clean out the squids and stuff them with chopped chorizo, bread crumbs, lemon zest, and parsley. Hold the squids together during grilling with toothpicks.

32. Grilled Shrimp

Shrimp is so popular that we had to include a few variations here. For this easy choice rub your shrimps in chili powder and salt. Grill them quickly over high heat. Throw on a squeeze of lime juice and serve.

33. More Grilled Shrimp

34. Grilled tuna niçoise

The best tuna is always served up rare. Brush the tuna with olive oil and grill it. Make sure that you don’t overcook the tuna. Once cooked serve it up with olive oil, lemon juice, olives, grilled red onion, and cherry tomatoes. If you feel like it you might want to grill some new potatoes to serve as well.

35. Grilled Bluefish!

Grill some bluefish until it is cooked throughout. Once grilled drizzle over a mixture of melted butter, grapefruit juice, and fennel seeds.

36. Grilled Spicy White Fillets

Make a mix of salt, sugar, paprika, and chili powder. If you like it really hot increase the amount of chili powder that you use. Clean your grill grates and give them a good oiling. Sprinkle the mix over the fish fillets and grill over medium heat.

37. Grilled Soft-Shell Crabs

Take your soft-shell craps and grill them over medium heat. During the grilling process brush the crabs with melted butter containing Tabasco sauce. Once the crap is cooked through and the claws are slightly charred remove them from the heat.

Kebabs

38. Shrimp and Chorizo Kebabs.

Alternate shrimp and chorizo on a skewer until the skewer is about 80% full. Grill directly over medium/high heat until the shrimp is cooked throughout but be careful to not overcook as you don’t want rubbery shrimp. Once cooked serve the kebabs with lemon.

39. Lamb and Carrot Kebabs

Cut the lamb and carrots into equal-sized pieces and alternate them as you place them on the skewers. During the last couple of minutes before the lamb is cooked brush with miso that has been thinned with mirin. If you do not have any mirin you can also thin the miso with water.

40. Lamb and Onion Kebabs

These are simple and incredibly delicious. Place the made kebabs on the grill and as they are cooking brush with an olive oil and cumin mix. You can also add cherry tomatoes or bell peppers to the kebabs but they also work very well without them.

41. New York Special Kebabs

Make skewers out of Italian sausage, onions, and peppers. Grill until all ingredients are cooked through.

42. California Special Kebabs.

To be honest, this is not one of my favorites at all but many friends have asked for it in the past so I have added it to the list. Alternate figs with decent-sized pieces of bacon and stick them on the grill.

43. Brusell Sprout and Sausage Kebabs.

Love them or hate them Brussels sprouts always divide opinions. if you love them then these are the kebabs for you. Cut the sprouts in half and add to the skewers with chunks of sausage. Grill these kebabs slowly and the sausage and sprouts will crisp as they cook.

44. Fruit Kebabs

Cut some peaches, strawberries, plums, and watermelons into equal size pieces. Add the pieces to some skewers and lightly grill. Once grilling is complete lightly salt the fruits and add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.

45. White Fish and Mango Kebabs

Cube the mango and white fish so they are equal in size. Whilst the kebabs are grilling brush on a mixture of soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, fish sauce, and chopped mint.

46. Ratatouille Kebabs

Add chunks of Zucchini, mushrooms, yellow squash, onion, eggplant, and tomatoes to a skewer. Grill the kebabs until the vegetables are slightly browned and tender. Burgers

47. Grilled Greek Salad Burger

Mix together ground lamb, grated feta, chopped calamatas, and some oregano. Mold the patties into burger shapes and place them on the grill. Grill the patties until the burgers are cooked all the way through. Assemble the burger using tomato slices, red onion, and cucumber.

48. Grilled Lamb and Cumin Burger

Before you start with the burger you will need to slice some red onions and soak them in diluted vinegar. When this is done you can start to make the patties. Mix ground lamb with grated carrots and season with cumin. Grill the patties and once they are cooked top them with onions and put them in buns.

49. Grilled Asian Burger

Mix ground pork with grated daikon and add a little soy sauce. Be quite light with the soy sauce as it can become too salty very quickly if you are heavy with it. Once the patties are formed brush them with either hoisin or miso. Grill the patties until they are cooked through. Place the patty in a bun and top with cucumbers that have been sliced and salted.

50. Grilled Beef and Blue Cheese Burger

Mix the ground beef with blue cheese and some toasted walnuts. If the walnuts do not come already chopped then chop them finely. Grill the patties and separately some pear slices. When serving the burger top the patty with the grilled pear.

51. Grilled Chicken and Bacon Burger

Cook up some bacon and chop it up finely. Mix the bacon with ground chicken and grill. Once cooked serve in a bun with salad.

52. Grilled Salmon Burger

Grilled salmon burgers are delicate but packed full of flavor. Take your salmon and finely chop one half of it and grind the other half. Add chopped scallions and soy sauce to the salmon and combine. Grill the patties until the salmon is medium rare. Once the burgers are cooked make a mix of mayo, ginger, and soy and use this as a tasty sauce for the burger.

53. Grilled Turkey and Mozzarella Burger

This is one of my favorite alternative burgers. Mix chopped basil and ground turkey together in a bowl. Make a patty out of the mix and add a cube of mozzarella to the center of the patty. Grill the patty until the cheese is melted and the turkey is cooked through. Top the burger with tomato slices and extra basil.

54. Philly Cheesesteak Burger

Grind the beef and form the patties. Grill alongside mushrooms and onions. Once the patty is turned over top it with provolone. If you have a little more time and you love burgers then this Incredible American Smashburger is perfect.

Sandwiches and Bread

55. Grilled Quesadillaa the Easy Way

Take a flour tortilla and fill it with grated cheddar, queso fresco, chicken and tomato. Fold the tortilla and keep it on the grill until the cheese is melted.

56. Grilled Quesadillas the Harder Way

Grill some corn and sliced red onions. Once they are cooked remove the corn from the cob and chop the onion into small pieces. Combine these with chili powder and use a little bit of mayo or yogurt as a binder. Place the mix on top of a tortilla and add grated cheese. Place another flour tortilla on top and grill until the cheese is melted. These can be served with grilled lime wedges.

57. Grilled Cuban Sandwich Alternative

Grill some pork steaks. There is a recipe further up in this article if you need help. Take a sliced baguette and add seasoned mashed black beans, queso fresco, red onion, lime juice, and cilantro. Add to this the sliced grilled pork steaks.

58. Grilled Pork Steak Pita Pockets.

Grill the pork steaks as above as well as some red onion. Slice the meat and onion and place in a bowl. Toss in some thinly sliced apples and mix them together. Stuff the mix into pita bread and add a yogurt with dill dressing.

59. Grilled Italian Sausage Hotdogs

Grill some Italian sausages alongside some figs. Once they are cooked place the hot dog in a hot dog bun and serve with mustard on top.

Desserts

60. Grilled BBQ Fruits

This one is incredibly simple. Take some peaches, nectarines, and apricots. Cut them in half and place them on the grill. Whilst they are grilling brush them with barbecue sauce. If you want to take the sauce up a notch you can make a mixture of bourbon, mint, and sugar and brush this on the fruit.

61. Grilled Apples and Pears

Cut pears and apples in half and grill them. Once they are grilled drizzle them with yogurt, honey, and a little cardamon.

62. Grilled Fruit Salad

Lightly grill peaches, plums, watermelon, kiwi, and pineapple. Once grilled place all the fruits in a bowl. Toss with lemon juice, honey, a little salt, basil, and a little bit of tarragon.

63. Grilled Grapefruit

Cut the grapefruit in half and sprinkle with brown sugar. Grill the watermelon with the cut side facing down. Once the watermelon is grilled serve it with honey on top.

64. Grilled Bananas

Cut the bananas into thick round pieces. Grill them hot and fast until they are charred. Serve the bananas with caramel sauce or ice cream. You can also serve it with Nutella or sugar or whatever you like.
